Privacy
This site is built to know as little about you as possible. No accounts, no cookies set by us, no advertising trackers, no fingerprinting. You can read every page and download every free sample without identifying yourself.
▪WHAT WE COLLECT, AND WHY
Reading the site: nothing from us. The site is served by Cloudflare, whose infrastructure processes standard connection data (IP addresses, request logs) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. If we measure traffic, we use aggregate, cookieless analytics that cannot identify you.
Buying a dataset. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers. From a purchase, we receive your name, email address, and the purchase details, and we use them for exactly three things: delivering your files, providing the future versions of the record your license includes, and keeping the purchase records the law requires.
Emailing us. If you write to us, we keep the correspondence to answer you and to honor anything we promised, including corrections to the record.
▪WHO ELSE TOUCHES IT
Two processors: Stripe (payments; subject to Stripe's own privacy policy) and Cloudflare (hosting and delivery). Data reaches them over encrypted connections in the ordinary operation of paying for and serving a website. We do not sell or share personal information with anyone else, we run no advertising, and we build no profiles of our readers or buyers.
▪RETENTION AND SECURITY
Purchase and delivery records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Correspondence is kept as long as it is useful for supporting you. Everything moves over TLS; the honest core of our security practice is minimization: we cannot lose what we never collected.
▪YOUR CHOICES
Email zac@librarianlabs.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it (we will keep only what tax law obliges us to keep). Update notices for purchased records can be declined anytime by saying so.
▪ABOUT THE DATASETS THEMSELVES
Our products document public figures' public statements, compiled from widely distributed media, with sourcing practices described on the methodology page. They contain no data about our readers or customers, no private individuals, and no biometric identifiers.
